Levelshifter VE-P-0001

This module serves as a tool for the conversion of encoder signals which are inducted via encoders that are commonly traded. These signals can reach a level of about 5 to 24V DC. The encoder signals are converted (potential free) to output levels of 5V DC with a RS 422 trait.

Moreover, the pulse frequency of the output signals can be output in proportions of 1/2/4/8/16/32/64 and 128 and the counting direction can also be negated. Therefore, you simply have to turn over a DIP switch. The proportions only refer to the counting signals of the encoder (K1 and K2) – the encoder-zero-signal is output in undivided form.

The maximum input frequency of the module is 1 MHz for signals that should not be divided and 55 KHz respectively for signals that should be output in divided form.

The module is connected via lockable connectors and it is designated for the assembly (rail 35 mm).
