I/O Module VE0013

The I/O module VE0013 provides the customer with 24 digital adapters which can either be used as inputs or outputs. The choice is dynamically effected by the user’s software without any further hardware measures.
The voltage supply amounts to 16 – 30 V DC. Eight of the 24 adapters can be used via different levels of approximately 12 – 30 V at the same time. The potential-free serial interface RS 485 to the host works with a transfer rate of 115 KBd as a standard. The participant is addressed using DIP-switches.
The power strain of the signals configured as outputs can add up to 2 A. Therefore, an electronic overload fuse is implemented which can also be scanned or set back via the software. Every adapter is equipped with a status display via LED. For service purposes, a software tool which is able to examine all the I/Os, is available.
The module can be assembled on a standard base and is therefore suitable for the rail (35mm) assembly. The module’s dimensions are 135 x 71.5 mm (without socket).
Additionally, this micro controller offers the possibility to integrate customer-specific controlling flows („spread intelligence“).
