The Color Matcher PR0049 serves for the evaluation of self-luminescent objects in the visible area of light. The module has been conceived as a measuring device and can be operated via a serial interface but also over analogue outputs. It is moreover possible to operate the module over both interfaces.
The light is coupled by means of light guides that are available in different configurations. Due to the utilisation of light guides for the coupling to the test objects, it is possible to spatially separate the actual module from the test area. A very high degree of flexibility can thus be obtained through the relatively small mechanical dimensions of the module, which often allows for later up-grading or modifications of existing installations. Apart from the standard light guides, PREMOSYS also offers customer-specific light guide configurations that can be adapted to the respective application.

The scope of delivery includes a software tool for the parameterisation as well as a detailed description of the serial interface. This documentation contains all commands with the help of which the mere sensor values can be measured and then evaluated using one’s own software. A WIN 32 LowLevel DLL is also available.
